Tour Description
Experience 7 day Honeybadges tour and safari through Kruger National Park and meandering along the panorama route. This tour encompasses two full day on the Kruger National Park, 5 days panorama route and village tour, the likes of Blyde river canyon, Mac mac fall, Gods window, three rondavels, Bourke’s luck potholes, Shaangana cultural village, klaserie dam and Hoedspruit wild life area.
Tour starts every Monday of the week and ends on Sunday of the same week.

Seven Day Itinerary

Day 1: Johannesburg to Mpumalanga

We collect our clients at OR Tambo International Airport bus & shuttle terminal or hotels in 5 radius between, please contact the office day before trip to confirm pickup time. On this day we explore panorama route through the beautiful scenery of Mpumalanaga, passing Machadodorp tunnel. We will be camping at Hazyview camp site. (Dinner only)

Day 2: Three Rondavals, Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes

On this day we awake slightly late and after breakfast we make our way to the famous panorma routre. At about 8:00am, we will be visiting the worlds third largest Blyde River Canyon as well as three Rondavals and Bourke’s luck potholes (All meals).

Day 3: Graskop and Shaangana Cultural Village Tour

On this day we explore our tour to Mac Mac falls, Gods window, Graskop town and Shaangana cultural village (All meals).

Day 4: Klaserie Dam, Hoedspruit and Bushbuckridge Village

An early morning drive will take us to Bushbuckridge villages passing Klaserie dam for a walk, then explore further to the Limpopo province (Hoedspruit wildlife area). We then spend the day looking for animals such as giraffe’s, zebra’s, impala’s and warthogs. This area is home to baboons (All meals).

Day 5 and 6: Kruger National Park

Our Safari starts before sunrise as we enter Kruger National Park which is one of the larges park in Africa. THis is the best park in Africa where we will be searching for animals such as the big five: Lions, Rhinos, Elephants, Leopards and Buffalos. We will also be visiting various waterholes, lookout points and rivers.
Please be aware that safaris take you into close contact with wild animals. You should always behave in a quiet and non-aggressive manner, as you are a guest in their environment. Always listen to instructions from your guide whilst on safari and information from the camp/lodge staff, particularly regarding night time movement in camps. (All meals)

Day 7: Panorama route back to Johannesburg

On this day, we departure early in the morning to OR Tambo International Airport, arriving between 16:00 – 17:00. From there you will be able to depart to your various lodges and hotels after a great Safari experience (breakfast and lunch only).
Departure and Return
We collect clients from the surrounding hotels or lodges (within 6km radius) between 6:00am and 7:00am then we travel to OR Tambo international airport. You can call the office on the day of the trip to confirm pickup time. After the Safari tour, we travel back to OR Tambo International Airport where you will be required to fill in an indemity form before joining the Safari.
NB. Clients flying out of OR Tambo International Airport on the day, should please not book their flights any earlier than 07:00 pm (domestic) and 8:00 pm (international). Client staying around the Sandton or Pretoria area can take a Gautrain or Uber to OR Tambo International Airport.

Securing a booking

Tour Participation

Part of honey badges tour trips Safari trip is getting involved in general camp duties. It’s all part of your adventure but it is not compulsory only if you feel like helping for example putting tent etc. The guide will provide assistant, but essential part of your Safari participation helping putting up your tent on camping sites or packing away in the morning to helping of meal preparation such as chopping tomatoes etc. The group will help to do dishes on a rotation basis, when everyone puts on a little effort the trip will run smoothly.

On the Safari trip

You will be guided by the African experienced tour guide previously guided in the Namibian desert sossevlei, Ethosha National Park, Moremi game reserve(Botswana), Table mountain, Cape of good hope in Cape Town South Africa, Victoria falls (Zimbabwe), Mosi oa tunya or the smoke of the thunder in living stone(Zambia).

South African weather condition

Please note that itineraries will depend on local weather conditions. Travelling in Africa is sometimes unpredictable and participants should have a taste for adventure. By the very nature of travelling in remote areas, there are unforeseen challenges to overcome, unpredictable circumstances due to problems with road condition, weather, mechanical problem breakdown or accident.

Cancellation policy

What to bring on the Safari trip

Comfortable shoes, warm clothes, jackets, sunhat, sunscreen, cameras, binoculars and personal belongings. Please also bring your own sleeping bag.

Sleeping bag/blanket

On all camping Safari, a warm sleeping bag or blanket is essential on winter (May – September) and in certain areas throughout the year. Sleeping bags are available by prior request $40 per Safari applicable.

Travel Documents

You will be required to have a valid passport with at least 2 blank pages for entry to South Africa. Please check with us, your local consulate or travel agents as to visa, passport and health requirements. It is your responsibility to ensure that your passport, visa and vaccination certificates are all in order before departure. We cannot be held liable for any passenger being refused entry in South Africa.

We require the name, nationality, date of birth and flight details and flight details of each participants.

General information

Clients will be collected from various accomodation venues between 06:00am to 7:00am. These times will be confirmed with via your consultant when booking your tour.
